Big Hit!
My son had been looking all over for canned haggis to try and was thrilled to receive this as a gift from me. He loved it! He even got 3 of his 4 young kids to try it and they all gave it a thumbs up, too! Thanks to Igourmet for providing so many great treats to choose from at reasonable prices and modest shipping costs. Your service has always been exceptional, too, by the way. This is a company I'll stick with!

Good Haggis for being canned.
I really enjoyed this haggis. It was filling and satisfying. Interesting texture but in a good way.

Caledonian Haggis
Had this Haggis for our annual Rabbie Burns/grandson birthday dinner. First time eating this brand, it was enjoyed by all, kids included. Savory with a liver flavor.

Very good, for a canned haggis.
I fall right into line with the average review of this product. I thought the flavor, seasoning, and texture of it was quite good for a canned, as compared to fresh product goes. Don't be put off by appearance, it may not look too appetizing to those unfamiliar with haggis, but the taste is very good. Most people will only want a small portion, as this is a rather calorie dense and high fat product. Goes very well with eggs at breakfast.

Eat Quickly!
The Haggis tastes good when the can is opened, but it dries out quickly even in a refrigerator. My advice: if you are aching for some haggis, this is a good product, but open it and eat all of it ASAP.

Weel are ye wordy o' a grace
I'm not an expert on, or connoisseur of, Haggis, but this was mighty hearty and tasty. If you are looking for the main dish for your Burns supper, and need just enough for 3 or 4 people, this will fill the bill nicely.

disappointed it looked like dogmeat
I was expecting to turn the haggis out of the can and find the whole thing in the form of a sausage, with an outer membrane encasing it. However, it looked more like dog meat. The taste was very gamey, I guess the lamb accounts for that and many of our guests enjoyed the taste. I wasn't one of them.
