Along with their conquering armies, the Romans brought their cheese making expertise to England in the first century AD.   • Red Leaf Cheddar: This entrant from North America has a firm texture and a sweet, honeyed flavor. Best enjoyed with ale and fruit, this cheddar is aged for over 12 months. (7.5 oz)

good selection of sharp cheddars
My dad and I love sharp cheddar cheese and I bought this as his Christmas gift and it was enough for the two of us to share. We eat cheese by itself or on salt free crackers. So based on that Colliers Cheddar is awesome with the Great Ocean Road taking a close second. Red Leaf is more mild and doesn't have the strong "wang" of the other two cheeses. I had no use for the Grafton Reserve, it was just like cheese I might buy in the store.

All look the same!
As someone who has just received this gift, I can say that it came as chunks of vacuum wrapped cheese, all of which are light yellow. Not at all appealing. I haven't tasted them, and they might be wonderful, but purely from a presentation point of view, you can do better.

Purchased as a gift, the giftee liked the variety of Cheddars. The Australian wasn't their favorite but still not bad. Great service and shipping from iGourmet

Hits and misses
I really enjoyed the Red Leaf and Great Ocean Road cheddar. Both the Grafton and Denhay barely tasted like an aged cheedar, although the Grafton had an excellent texture. The Denhay had a strange chemically aftertaste and went bad almost immediately.
