Anna Van Dijk, producer of Dorothea and Van Dijk cheeses, has come up with yet another incredible creation - a goat's milk cheese with whole coriander seeds. All of Anna's cheeses are made in the southern end of the Netherlands near Eindhoven. Cornelia, like Dorothea and Van Dijk, is made from the milk of a single herd of 500 goats that graze on pastures of natural grasses and wild herbs. This old-world style of raising goats yields a remarkably flavorful milk that gives all of Anna's cheeses an abundance of character. The coriander seed has a flavor similar to a combination of lemon, sage and caraway. Her semi-hard cheese has a creamy feel, which is further enhanced with the addition of whole coriander seeds.
  • Made from pasteurized goat's milk, aged 60 days.
  • Photo depicts whole 10 lb. form of cheese.
  • We cut and wrap this item by the 1/2 pound.
  • Please contact us if you would like to purchase the whole form.

This was a beautiful goat cheese. Very creamy and didn't have that after taste that most goat's cheese have

Too Good to be True
I love coriander seed and it can't ever be too strong for me. Most flavored goat cheeses are strong with the flavor, and though delicious, have but a few varied uses. But this has a mild touch of coriander that doesn't overpower, so I can use it in so many things besides just a cheese & fruit tray. I LOVE it on my pizza with my "faux white sauce" and balsamic glaze. I use a softer cheese too for the creaminess and of course lots of spinach! This cheese is great on every sandwich I used it with too.

good cheese
Really good flavor and texture, love the seeds, wish there were a bit more of them in the cheese.

Outstandingly Different
A lovely surprise and a new item for us. Loved the taste-unlike anything else - will definitely be reordering this. Served on flatbread crisps or crackers by itself or with a fine chutney - just a very fine taste treat.

cornelia and dorthea both winners
I am a big fan of both Cornelia and Dorothea cheeses. Cornelia's texture is smooth, the body is firm yet yielding. The flavors are bright and vibrant but not strong. I think that the coriander added, compliments very well the inherent characteristics of the cheese. I like to eat it without any accompaniment, It is a satisfying snack, with flavor that stays with you. Do you have a craving for something, but you don't know what? Take a nibble of this, and your mouth is filled with happiness.By the way, if you are calorie and fat conscious as I am, don't worry- the smallest nibble of this cheese goes a long way and is very satisfying.

I was shocked at how great it tasted !
I never would have a cheese mixed with "stuff" but I was at a wine tasting so I did. FABULOUS. So happy I tried it and really was surprised. I will enjoy this cheese anytime.

My new favorite
I purchased this cheese because of the reviews and I wasn't expecting anything incredibly different. But, WOW! This is so different form anything I have ever had. It is so hard to describe. It is creamy, mild, yet with a suprising "pop" of crunch and light flavor of the coriander.

Unbelievable FLAVOR!
This was served at a wine tasting I went to. This cheese was unique. It's nutty complex flavor complimented most of the wines! I could have eaten all that was in my path!
