It is made from rich, full-fat cow's milk and aged for only 60 days before it is packaged and sent across the Atlantic to our shores. With its dry texture, similar to a good cheddar, Crumbly Lancashire is excellent in salads or on an unsalted cracker. It is a mild, fresh-tasting cheese that is one of England's best kept secrets.

Crumbly Lancashire
I have bought this product several times, however the last time I bought it I thought that it seemed to have a cheddar consistency but put it down to me, I recently bought it again and it has that same cheddar consistency which Crumbly Lancashire shouldn't have, I probably won't purchase again as I am disappointed.

Awesome cheese
Mild, slightly salty and slightly sweet. Great with crackers or whole meal bread, or on open face toasted cheese sandwiches (with tomato, of course). Simply awesome cheese. And this is the ONLY place in the USA that seems to have it!

Adequate but uninteresting
English cheeses available in the U.S. today are a far cry from those available in the 1960s-1980s. This one is fair but not particularly interesting. It does not bear repurchase.
