This DOP (protected designation of origin) Sicilian Extra Virgin Olive Oil hails from Val di Marzara, also known as "The Green Heart of Italy". Located in Palermo, Sicily, the combination of Palermo's hills, earth, and climate allow it to produce quality olives with a low acidity. Fini makes their olive oil with a blend of Biancolilla, Cerasuola and Nocellara del Belice olives that are hand picked at the best ripening moment. Fruity on the tongue, yet with a decidedly peppery finish. This fine Extra Virgin Olive Oil is guaranteed and controlled under The D.O.P. seal.
