Exotic Tasty Spread

Delicious fig spread for Gourmet Grilled Cheese!
This is one of several of my favorites foods that I included in a gift basket to my brother and his wife as a thank you gift. I was pleased to find it available through igourmet and plan to order some for myself since I can't find it locally.

Just what I ordered
Found this jam in a local market then they stopped carrying it. Went on line found it here and got a fast shipment, well packed and its just as good as before. Love it in ricotta as a desert.

Delicious
Haven't had this in years and it's hard to find it around here, so I was thrilled to find it here. This fig spread is wonderful! I used to love it with brie, apple smoked cheddar, provolone on a cracker. I am allergic to dairy now, so I have glazed a salmon with it and eaten it on a banana bread so far and it was as delicious as I had remembered.

Just like Mom used to make!
This fig spread reminds me of the wonderful fig preserves that my mother made every summer. The consistency of the spread is perfect: not too thick or too thin. The flavor is wonderful with just the right balance of fig, citrus, and sweetness. This spread is great for breakfast, and it also adds unique flavor to peanut butter sandwiches.

The dalmatia fig spread has a nice orange flavor with the crunch of the figs. The jar was kind of small though.
