Kolding Salad Factory has been a Danish-owned family business since 1947. The company was founded in Kolding by husband and wife Christine and John Hansen. The company started as a small agency business with flour, margarine, various bakery items as well preserved, mainly fish. Kolding Remoulade is a lunchtime staple in many Danish houses. Remoulade is delicious on breaded fish, chicken strips, shrimp, or as a creamy dip for vegetables. The Danish are also fond of using this as a dip for French fries.
