It is extremely rare for an English-style farmhouse cheddar like this to be produced in the U.S. Made from Fiscalini's own milk and aged for 18 months on the property, this cheese is made with only all-natural ingredients, and was voted "Best Farmhouse Cheese" at the 2002 American Cheese Society Awards in Washington D.C. It is a wonderful example of the success of the artisan cheese movement in the U.S. today. Rich, buttery and sharp, Fiscalini Farmstead Cheddar is a world-class cheese.

Good Cheddar
If allowed to breathe and warm up, this cheddar is a very good. nice buttery feel and full yet not to sharp flavor.

A Cheddar by any other name...
The Fiscalini Bandage Wrapped Raw Milk Cheddar Is, in my opinion one of the best cheddars I have encountered in my 67 years. I've been across the globe a couple of times, was raised on Long Island New York, and have had many awesome Cheddars pass my lips since my childhood. This American product is right up there with the best of the English Cheddars I've enjoyed. I WILL be ordering more. I Live in a culinary wasteland.

Excellent Cheddar
At first I thought it didn't taste quite right. Then I let it warm up. Ahh! The flavor came to its peak. This is a cheddar that has to be enjoyed small bite by small bite.
