We admit - we had to try it to believe it. Our Gouda supplier told us that their Light Gouda tasted just as good as a typical full-fat variety, and it is true! This Gouda, with 30% less fat than the traditional recipe, does not taste waxy, cardboard-like, or have any other deficiency we've associated with light cheeses in the past. In fact, it is rich, creamy and delightful. If you love cheese but are trying to cut back on fat, our Gouda Light should be your first choice.

No way you'll know it's not the full-fat kind! It's wonderful alone, with light crackers, or thinly shaved in/on a spinach, bacon, and craisin salad. Yum. Great treat, especially if you're trying to cut back on the calories.

Nothing lite about the taste
In a salad with arugula, walnuts and cranberries, this cheese is wonderful. It tastes as good as full fat versions and does not over-power the other salad ingredients.

What a WONDERFUL surprise!
This cheese is a prize! It has almost the same texture as a raw milk cheddar, and the flavor is absolutely delicious.
