Artisanal cheese making in the United States is at an all time high, both in quantity and in quality. We are now blessed with hundreds of producers across the nation, many of whom are garnering attention and accolades worldwide. Many of these fall into the cheddar category, as American Artisans put their own spin on this popular cheese which originated in the village of the same name in Somerset, England. This fantastic collection gathers four of our favorites, each typifying the fearless spirit of these new-world cheddar producers.
