Outstanding!
This is an amazing product. I wish I had it 10 years ago. Slices through cheese smoothly created super-thin slices or any thickness that you want. Also, gorgeous veined green marble looks great on my countertop. Def. can use to present cheese to guests as well! I wish it were a touch larger, and like previous reviewers, I am glad it comes with 2 extra wires, since the 1st wire broke after 2 uses.

Shipment was faster than I expected. Haven't used the product yet. Read that one of the complaints about this product was that the wire in the cutter was broken when it arrived. The product was well wrapped and I did not have this problem.

Lacked instructions of how to adjust wire for tension
The item arrives with the cutter wire not engaged and no instructions I am not sure if my intuitive method was the correct one. The angle of the tightening knob is somewhat awkard.

it was as expected
The item arrived in a timelty fashion and looked exactly as it should. The only downside was that it arrived with a broken wire. From other reviews I read - this isn't the first time it's happened. 2 other wires were included, which is good, because I replaced it. But instructions were not avaiable on how to replace the wire. (took me a minute to figure it out.)My suggestion is to just include a 1/8 sheet of paper detailing how to put on the wire and include all 3 wires, with none on the slicer already. I like it. It's fine, but I gave ti 3 stars instead of 4 for arriving damaged, and me having to use one of the extra parts to fix it before I even gift it.
