The Live-O Company story began with the planting of thousands of olive trees in the barren land of Kibbutz Revivim, located in the Negev desert. Generations later, Israeli chef Julian Attia uses the fruits of this harsh land to create two varietals of gourmet olive tapenades. Perfect with bread, fresh vegetable crudites, or as a topping for grilled lamb or chicken. Try both flavors:
- Black Olive Tapenade: Black olives pureed with caramelized onion and sage in extra virgin picual olive oil. A tapenade combining a bittersweet taste: sweetness which comes from caramelized onion and the bitterness coming from the olive itself.
- Green Olive Tapenade: Green olives blended with almonds and rosemary in extra virgin manzanillo olive oil. A lighter olive tapenade with almonds and rosemary, this mixture softens the intense flavor of the olives.
