The "World's Tastiest Figs" are exclusively produced on Evia Island. Named after the town of Kimi, this unique, local variety is acknowledged by the European Union with Protected Name of Origin (PNO). Sought after for their delicate skin and natural sweetness, these special figs are harvested from the island's 25,000 Kimi fig trees. These trees do not have many natural enemies, so they don't need any special cultivation technique or care, which means these fortunate figs need no spraying and its fertilization is basically organic.

Figs are picked the first ten days of August up until the end of September. The figs are exposed in the sun for 4-5 days until they are fully dried. Due to the delicate nature of these figs, they are packed by hand to maintain their unique character. All of this work is done by the producers-members association (founded in 1980), which consists of about 800 members from 22 communities in the area of Kimi in Evia. Contains Sulfites.

Best dried figs you can get
Kimi dried figs are indeed a special treat to enjoy. Plump with just enough sweetness to balance the tangy undertone from the soft and chewy skin. A summer pleasure that you'll wish you had year round. Get them, eat them, love them!

Amazing...best dried fig I've ever tasted
We can't stop eating these..much better than both the California and turkish figs, its like eating a fig newton! They are not leathery and tough, so sweet, the skin is thin and the inside so delicious..
