It has a lively acidity and a slight piquancy on the palate. It is creamy with a mouth-watering, long-lasting flavor. Well worth the cost.
I purchased this in addition to the Spanish Cheese Assortment for four family members. The Assortment is a delight because of the quality and variety. However, it did not have one distinctive outstanding cheese. Creamy and delightful, slightly salty like a feta but rounder and less sharp, disregarded the other offerings on the plate after tasting it until it was gone.

Majorero
New to this cheese, it pared nicely with hearty cocktail meatballs and savory turkey strudels. Rich, melts in your mouth. Delicious.

Finally got to try this cheese, and it didn't disappoint!
I was finally able to order this from igourmet. It seems to always be out of stock (and apparently with good reason as this is one great cheese!); I would even get notified when it was in stock and by the time I got through my email the very same day it was sent it would be out of stock before I could place an order. As I mentioned, I was finally able to get a shipment and this cheese is definitely one of the best! It does go well with a nice Rioja to be true to its homeland or even a nice cold Sangria, but this will go well with most any medium to full robust wines. Also great shredded over a spinach salad with pecans and sliced or diced pears. Many cooking possibilities with this cheese. Well, I could go on & on--just wish it was available for as many times I would like to order it! If you are on this page and it is in stock, don't hesitate--order it--you won't be sorry!

piquant & rich
delightfully rich flavor, piquant, creamy, and complex. delicious in sandwiches, but my favorite is to eat small slices by themselves to take in the wonderful flavor as is warms in my mouth.

Flavor in every bite
This is the first time I've tried this cheese and I was pleasently surprised. It is a little dry, which is fine with me as it is a hard cheese and has a nice tang to it. Oh, let's just face it, I'm hopelessly in love with goat cheese. Haven't tasted a bad one yet and this is no exception. If you like your cheese with a little nip to it, you will love this.

DELIGHTFUL ON THE PALATE
No special uses in my household; just consumed. It is pungent to the tastebuds and its taste remains in the mouth after, much like a prized wine lingers to delight. Impressive cheese. A palat-ial delight.
