Zerto Fresh Mozzarella is made with nothing but pure, fresh milk. Its creamy texture and mild flavor are much softer than mass-produced regular Mozzarella. This block-style mozzarella is perfect for shredding over homemade pizza, baked pasta dishes, or filling rolls of chicken or veal scallopini.
When determining whether to use Part Skim or Whole Milk mozzarella, a decision has to be made as to the preference of the final dish. Whole milk mozzarella brings a fuller flavor and a creamy texture to recipes, but it does not brown as well and is not as elastic as part skim. Part Skim mozzarella has 2% butterfat, a greater stretch, chewier texture and more browning ability.
