Les Trois Petits Cochons (The Three Little Pigs) started in 1975 as a small charcuterie in the heart of New York's Greenwich Village, where founders Alain Sinturel and Jean Pierre Pradi cooked and offered pts and other French specialties to the neighborhood gourmets. They soon received rave reviews by such notables as Craig Clairborne, Mimi Sheraton, James Beard, and others. Once word got out, they began making pts for other restaurants around Manhattan. By 1990, demand forced them to expand their operation. Les Trois Petits Cochons is recognized for its excellence as a leader in the specialty food business and industry it helped to create. They use all-natural, high-quality ingredients, and craft their foods in small, handmade batches.

Their Saucisson Sec is a pork sausage, naturally air-dried. Made from a time-honored recipe from the mountains of France. The gentle combination of spices from Provence include thyme, rosemary, and fennel. This combination is a beautiful blend of fresh flavor and robust cured pork. A time-honored recipe from the Pyrenees mountains of France, now handmade in the USA!

A favorite; the best sausage product we've purchased
When you want a meat element on your cheese tray, there's nothing yummier than Saucission Sec aux Herbes de Provence. It's delicious on its own, and the mild, slightly sweet pork flavors and just right herbs complement most cheeses.

Good but not the
The saussage was good but when you are used to real "Saucisson" from Provence it lacks a bit of flavor. Although, it is probably the best we have found in the States....

OK
IT IS A GOOD SAUSAGE. WELL WORTH THE PRICE. A VERY MILD SAUCISSON.

Different
The sausage is very hard and difficult to slice thinly (I don't have a meat slicer) and has mild flavor. I served it with cheese, crackers, wine and fruit at a party. I didn't care for the sausage but apparently everyone else did because it was gone within minutes!

You MUST try this!!!
This is a great tasting sausage, with a hint of Herbes de Provence. I served it on my patio for some guests. We had wine and I paired it with crackers, toased french bread, sharp cheddar cheese, olives, roasted red peppers, and goat cheese. We helped ourselves and made our own combos. The sausage was gone in minutes-not kidding at all. Everyone said how it was so great tasting. Try this, you won't be disappointed. I will be ordering this again for sure!

My Dad loved loved loved this!
My dad is a nut for meat & cheeses at Christmas, so I knew that this would be a hit for he and his wife. It was a thrill to hear the excitment in his voice when the order arrived to him. Thank you for bringing the joy :)

Great Saucisson.
I love this saucisse because it was salty enough, the herbs were a good combination. I could eat this whole thing by itself or with bread accompaniment.
