Les Trois Petits Cochons (The Three Little Pigs) started in 1975 as a small charcuterie in the heart of New York's Greenwich Village. Founders Alain Sinturel and Jean Pierre Pradi cooked and offered pts and other French specialties to the neighborhood gourmets. They soon received rave reviews by such notables as Craig Clairborne, Mimi Sheraton, James Beard, and others. Once word got out, they began making pts for other restaurants around Manhattan. By 1990, demand forced them to expand their operation. Today, they make their pts in their kitchen, House of Bricks, located in Wilkes-Barre, PA. Les Trois Petits Cochons is recognized for its excellence as a leader in the specialty-food business and industry it helped to create. They use all-natural, high quality ingredients, and craft small, handmade batches.

Their Saucisson Sec is a pork sausage, naturally air-dried. Made from a time-honored recipe from the mountains of France.

Great Saucisson
Excellent quality to a price ratio. Great for daily eating but certainly not a gourmet piece :)

Saucisson sec
Not sec(dry) enough and missing the pepper grains found in the Saucisson sec in France.

Very Good
The only time we ever got Saucisson was when we went to France or a family member from France brought it here. The exclusivity made it a very delectable treat. Now that we can purchase it anytime, being that it tastes very similar to the french version, it takes nothing away from the flavor! I would highly recommend it, especially in conjunction with Pyrenees.

Saucisson Sec
I was browsimg on line for Saucisson Sec, after looking at a few I decided to jump to igourmet, com. I was supprised to find so much French items. I was stationed in France in the 50's. I got hooked on French food, I married a wonderful French Lady who makes all kinds of French food for me our family and friends. I love the saucisson sec and did not give it to anyone except my spouse and son. I will be visiting your on-line shop to order the things that will sttisfy my French craving of delicious foods.
