Good stuff
This is a good sharp cheddar. It tastes sharp, and has a hint of "aged" taste to it. To be honest, I only took away 2 stars because it didn't really blow me away. Just tasted like most sharp cheddar.

delicious
delicious product even better company. I ordered the Irish cheese pack and igourmet replaced the shamrock cheddar with a Swiss. I called igourmet to tell them I really don't enjoy Swiss and was disappointed with the sub. they kindly sent me the shamrock when it was back in stock at no charge. it would be nice and make things much easier if all companies were this honorable.

Very good
I tried this cheese when one of my Canadian cheddars was unavailable. While I like it better than many cheddars, it lacked something in taste that did not give it quite the flavor of the Canadian or Kerrygold cheeses that I find so fantastic.

a cheddar that can stand on its own
Very good, tangy cheese with a bit of bite. Excellent alone. Would not recommend it as part of sandwich. this cheese needs a bread that is equally good.

great cheddar
I got it for my daughter and her boyfriend. They had a wine and cheese party and they and their friends loved it. They are from the midwest and know great cheddar (Wis) and they loved this Irish addition

Lovely cheddar
This was a better-than-average cheddar, though not an all-around standout. It was delightful in flavor and could stand on its own. It was especially good with other light flavors, such as eggs and herbs or with crackers and salsa.

Disappointed
I love a good sharp cheddar, but this isn't one of them. The texture is so-so -- a little too grainy dry. The taste is bland, not at all what I expect from a sharp cheese. I will use this melted in dishes, but only with strongly flavored other ingredients.
