Tradition lies at the heart of such delights as Tetilla Cheese, which is made in the farming and dairy producing land of Galicia. The pride of the land where it was created, the secret of this cow's milk cheese has been passed down from generation to generation. This soft cheese is hand formed into the shape of a woman's nippled breast. In Spain, people revere this cheese and assert that it "tastes like kisses". It has an elastic, creamy texture and a mild, tangy flavor. The public image and presence of Tetilla Cheese makes it one of the most original products of the Galician dairy industry. Tetilla is a D.O. cheese, meaning that its production is controlled by the Spanish Government, a status reserved for only select "Quesos Tradicionales." creamy and delicious
This is a mozzarella like cheese with much better flavor than its Italian cousin. It is very buttery and creamy. It should melt very well and would be interesting to try in place of mozzarella in recipes.

It is as the description says. It tastes like a kiss. I used to be able to get this locally but now I get it online. Good price, great cheese.

Very smooth, mellow, and delightful!
I'm writing this review as I order another pound (2 pks) as it deserves the rating. Everyone I know who has tried this cheese loves it! It has a hint of white cheddar flavor without the bite of aging and the creamy texture of a young mozerella. Very enjoyable and goes great with most any type of wine.

Delicious, lives up to its catch phrase
This gorgeous cheese is quite a show stopper on the buffet table, particularly in its uncut form. Sweet, creamy but not in any way bland it is wonderful eaten as is, or with any number of accompaniments. It also melts beautifully.
