Reminds me of 30 years ago
I'm a transplated Southerner after my Navy stint, I just stayed in Washington State. Since leaving Missouri I don't think I've had "real" ham in about 3 decades, since going to my paps for Easter and Christmas every year as a boy. Tasting this brought back a lot of memories, including nana's sharp advice to paps - "Slice it thinner, Henry! But nana was always right - thin slices are the only way to go!
