This coffee bread is a staple all year around and especially during Christmas. Wikstrom's Cardamom Coffee Braid is made from a family recipe handed down since 1890. Cardamom is a well used spice in Sweden, especially during Christmas. This all natural coffee bread is slightly sweet with a hint of cardamom and pearl sugar.

To make Swedish skorpor with this braid, just slice thin and toast in the oven. Then you have Skorpor for dipping in your coffee. Keep refrigerated to ensure a longer shelf life.

cardamom coffee braid
The aroma of the bag it was in was just heaven! It took me and everyone I gave some to back to Grandma's house.We all loved it when she went to Widen's Bakery (in Chicago) and got all her goods. The only thing, and we all kind of agreed on, was there wasn't much cardamom and the sugar melted really fast. My mom made skorpa and she said there wasn't any taste to it. Order again, probably. Next time I would like to receive my full order.There was no explanation why the order was not complete in with my order. I called to see if it was being shipped in a different box and cust. ser. said they ran out and a credit went onto my account. I don't understand that if you have an order for so many coffee braids to make you should have the same for those who placed them.

The best Swedish Braid from the nicest person who makes the Cardamom Coffee Braids and sends them to igourmet! I know, because I spoke to her! I want to buy it all year round, not just at Christmas! I hope the "Notify When In Stock" button works!

OMG couldn't believe we found it!!
This is a bread that was always on our Xmas table when I was growing up in Sweden and it was a real joy to have it again! The taste and quality was perfect! Will order it again next Xmas.

Made my mom's Christmas

Very Good Cardamom Coffee Bread
When my husband first tasted this, he closed his eyes, moaned and said, "I'm in granny's kitchen eating her cardamom bread..." You don't have to be Swedish to love this bread.
