Villa Manodori balsamicos are produced in very limited quantities by Massimo Bottura, chef and owner of Osteria Francescana restaurant in Modena. Villa Manodori Artigianale is crafted from the must of locally grown trebbiano grapes and aged red wine vinegar. It is matured for 10 to 20+ years in small barrels of oak, chestnut and juniper woods, yielding a balsamic of dark rich color, intense aroma and syrupy consistency. It incredibly intensifies the flavors of 22 month Grana Padano and grilled meats, yet is still sweet enough to drizzle over strawberries or ice cream. For many years now, the Prunotto Mariangela farm in Italy has been growing its own fruits and vegetables, using organic methods that respect both nature and the consumer. These large, brightly colored lima beans (Phaseolus lunatus) have a creamy texture when cooked and a buttery flavor, thus the nickname “butter beans.” These lima beans are also a good source of B vitamins, potassium, and fiber. The vivid colors of Prunotto farm's variety makes them wonderful to mix into salads with endives and goat cheese, or with grilled onions, smoky tomatoes, and fresh cilantro.

Traditionally served before a main course of grilled steaks, it is made from pasteurized cow's milk. These are pre-cut for your convenience, and rubbed with a variety of seasonings.
