The greatest fortified cheddar

This is the creme de le creme of fortified cheddars. Many producers in the UK and abroad add spirits to their cheddars but none can compare to this. It has a subtle, elegant taste that grows on you. One of the finest cheeses in the world.

Close your eyes and taste the melt in your mouth flavor. Rich and creamy, sharp flavor. Do not be mislead by the name, no pungent alcohol flavor or smell. Just very wonderful hints. Love it!

This is our third time ordering the Whiskey Cheddar (twice for ourselves, once as a gift) and it does NOT disappoint. Nicely sharp, and there's only a hint of smokiness, just enough so you know it's there--not overpowering whatsoever. This is one of our favorite cheddars!
