Chevre by Bourdin 11oz.
The goat is a sturdy, agile, erratic animal that can graze where cows fear to tread and whose milk produces a deliciously tart and tangy cheese. The generic name for goat milk cheese is chevre, which is simply the french word for goat. This well-known chevre is fresh, spreadable and moist with a slightly sharp and lightly acidic flavor. It is a simple homespun cheese that is a great addition to your cheese tray.

chevre,bread, and wine-a perfect simple
This is wonderfull spread on crusty french bread with a bit of wine. Add some tomato and salami and it just gets better. This is also great with warm toasted pita bread.

Subtle Flavor
Many goat cheeses are extremely tart and tangy, not so here. This has a soft and subtle tang that doesn't overwhelm. The light citrus finish is unexpected and wonerful. Great as a stand alone, as an addition to a cheese board but also a great addition to any recipe adding a light punch of flavor.

smooth and creamy
I used this as a garnish on salads with fruit and nuts that were really popular. It was smooth and creamy. Tangy, but not sour. A wonderful accompaniment to bitter greens.
