This cow's milk cheese from Argentina borrows its name from a Sardinian sheep's milk cheese, but it is noticeably heartier. Argentine Sardo is a firm, sharp grating cheese that flavors pasta dishes, adds character to hearty soups, and livens up your favorite medley of steamed vegetables.
  • Made from pasteurized cow's milk.
  • Photo depicts whole 6 lb. form of cheese.
  • We cut and wrap this item by hand.

great flavor
Met my expectations based on the description. New for me. I like it and use it in cooking but like it on toast/crackers as well.

Very Good
A very nice cheese, fairly hard, but not sharp at all - very mild, nice flavor. Would pair well with many wines.

I enjoy each and every bite! Perfect for grating but I like it best in chunks & popped right into my mouth!!!

Argentine Sardo
Excellent cheese, but the formula must have changed since i was younger. I remember jt being a little sharper than this.

Argentine Sardo
We had not eaten this cheese before, it is a very flavorful cheese. It will lend itself well with most red wines. It has savory sweet full flavor.

Popular in our house!
Nutty taste, great texture, easily grated, cubed or shredded but is still a dryer, firm cheese. Sometimes it barely makes it past opening the iGourmet box: we just stand at the kitchen counter and eat thin slices on fresh tomatoes with red onions and basil!

Overrated
Not up to my expectations. Average cheese.

Can either grate or eat cold, as-is
Hard enough to grate, and wife & I enjoyed marvelous taste & aroma hot over pasta. But also can cut and knosh on cold for lunch or snack. Will definitely rebuy, and very good value. Somebody said theirs had green mold, but I had no such problem.

Infused with Green Mold Flavor
Looks pretty but had to spit it out--this was the replacement for the green mold infused cheese
