Busseto Dry Salamis have been slowly air-dried and seasoned to perfection. We offer four flavors of these tasty dry Salamis from California's premier producer:
  • Herbes de Provence: With a Gourmet's touch, their Italian Dry salami is gently coated with freshly dried aromatic French herbs. This "secret recipe" is found in the French country-side alongside Champagne and Brie cheese. This is a wonderful snack on its own, or with a dash of mustard. Also makes a great addition to any antipasto.
  • Poivre Moulu: Delicately hand rolled in ground black pepper, the true essence of this flavorful salami is captured when served with warm fresh bread and crumbled blue cheese.
  • Green Peppercorn: Studded with cracked green peppercorns, every bite imparts a wonderful combination of meat and spice.
  • Mild Sopressata: An Italian style chub made from a coarse grind, spiced with a proprietary blend of mild herbs.

Mouth-Watering!
I've purchased both Herbs de Provence and Green Peppercorn varieties and loved them both! I am crazy for cooking with Herbs de Provence, so having salami rolled in it was heaven! It is messy and will get in your teeth but is so worth it. The Green Peppercorn is more standard salami, but I like the mildness of the green peppercorns over the stronger black peppercorns of other salami. I highly recommend both!

Flavorful!
I ordered the black pepper salami. Wow that's peppery! It's delicious. Nice and tangy with a bit of spice from the pepper and the right amount of salt. I was worried the spices would just fall off as I sliced, but it stayed pretty well!

Great Salami
I have tried the Herbes de Provence so far, and these French herbs add just the right amount of spice. This is great with cheese and crackers, or even alone as a snack.

Extraordinary Green Peppercorn and Herbes de Provence
I'd never even heard of Busseto before, and now I'm a total convert! My only regret is that I didn't order the poivre moulu as well. These were a huge hit with seven diverse guests, who devoured them. Herbes de Provence is the more unusual/distinctive; there's a lot of herbs, yet somehow they don't overwhelm but create an intriguing, subtle flavor. Green peppercorn is the best of that kind I've ever had. Both are highly addictive.

Flavor
It has flavor. It was not for me though and thought the taste was bad. From all the great reviews I either don't know what I am talking about or its an acquired taste.
