Almost there, not quite
This is a very tasty cheese and the salt level is fine but the truffle is not very noticeable. I think I only noticed it because I was looking for it or perhaps my packet didn't receive any more than the 2-3 tiny black flecks I spotted. Not sure if truffle oil might be included. I would certainly give it another chance.

waxy and bland
very disappointed in this item. rubbery texture instead of creamy and no flavor. so many great cheddars to pick from, I'd skip this one

not salty
It has none of the salty flavor that I expected. Very creamy and a little waxy. I'm a little disappointed, but I will definitely try it over a potato gratin as others have suggested.

Waxy
I didn't like it, very disapointed. I love truffle salt and had big expectations for this. The cheese tasted cheap and waxy. As I just read the other reviews a potato gratin may have been a good idea for it.

Won't last long.
Served this at a party with wine, cheese, and some sausage and it went very quickly. I only got to try a small piece before it was gone but really enjoyed it.

Truffle and Salt Cheddar
I made potato gratin it was fabulous its just has a great flavor, one thats so creamy. Its a staple I always have on hand
