Crema di Roma with Black Pepper
Crema di Roma is the name Giuseppe Lopez has given to the typical cheese of Roman countryside and is so called for its sweetness and lightness. Lopez is widely considered to be one of the finest producers of Pecorino Romano. The addition of whole black peppercorns gives this mild cheese a delicious, savory bite. Compared to Pecorino Romano, Crema di Roma is younger and a more suitable table cheese.
Made from pasteurized sheep's milk.
