Khorasan wheat, sold under the KAMUT® brand name, is an ancestor of durum wheat. It was cultivated thousands of years ago in the Fertile Crescent, the region extending from Egypt to Mesopotamia. Falling out of cultivation, it was rediscovered by the Quinns, organic farmers in Montana. It is high in protein, unsaturated fatty acids and minerals. It is an excellent substitute for other grains for people with gluten sensitivity, not suffering from celiac disease. Perfect for pizza, bread and pasta dough.

Molino Grassi is the product of three generations, from founder to grandchildren, of innovation in processing soft and durum wheat in Parma, Italy, the most important cereal-growing region of Northern Italy.
