Hommage Maasdam
While many US shoppers are familiar with the sight of Jarlsberg cheese in their grocery delis, few know this sweet, big-eyed Swiss is a modern take on a classic cheese called Maasdam. Sometimes called Leerdamer Maasdam, we are proud to offer you this rare goat's milk version from Holland. Created by Hommage this Maasdam is a very mild goat's cheese with a sweet, nutty taste reminiscent of a baby Swiss cheese. Soft in texture, this cheese is excellent for melting. One of our favorite uses for this cheese is in a grilled cheese with pickled red cabbage and bacon.- Made from pasteurized goat's milk.
