Green Dirt Farm is a women owned-and-operated small farm dedicated to bringing the best 100% grass-fed lamb and farmstead sheep's milk cheeses to their community. The farm is set in the bluffs above the Missouri River Valley about 40 miles northwest of Kansas City, Missouri.
Green Dirt Farm sheep's milk cheeses are made using milk from their own grass-fed, gently-raised ewes. Sarah and Jacqueline handcraft the cheeses on their farm using traditional old world methods that produce a unique richness and depth of flavor. The diverse grasses of the pastures flavor their ewe's milk with hints of clover, legumes and flowers. The flavors in the milk change as the pastures grow, creating cheeses that uniquely reflect Green Dirt Farm and celebrate the seasons.
