Goat Gouda with Honey
This Goat Gouda with Honey is a younger cheese than HoneyBee, another Goat Gouda with Honey, giving it a softer, smoother texture, with a slightly fuller taste of the goat's milk. A swirl of honey added to the curds gives this cheese a slightly sweet and floral note. We love the supple texture of this goat's milk cheese, especially in the kitchen for melting on noodles or in a grilled cheese toastie. Imported from Holland, this Gouda ends with a slightly salty, savory finish, making it perfect for pairing with crisp, tart apples or red grapes. For wines, look to a nice bottle of Malbec, or perhaps a minerally white wine to offset the lemon and hay notes of the goat's milk.
Made from pasteurized goat's milk.
