1 medium red cabbage, shredded
4 tablespoons hot vinegar
4 ounces bacon, fried and crumbled
4 ounces Blue Stilton cheese, diced
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
4 tablespoons Olio Carli olive oil
1 tablespoon Olio Carli Balsamic vinegar
1 garlic clove, peeled and crushed
1/2 teaspoon dried mixed herbs
1/4 teaspoon dry mustard powder
freshly ground black pepper
Place the cabbage in a bowl and pour the hot vinegar over.
Cover the base and sides of a salad bowl with lettuce
Spoon the cabbage on top.
Sprinkle the bacon, cheese
and parsley over the top.
Blend the oil, vinegar, garlic, mixed
herbs and dry mustard together, season to taste and pour over
Serve with cold meats or sausage.
Serves 6 people.
