Full Shipping Details
From the top of the world comes Gulost, a Norwegian cheese similar to a fresh Dutch Gouda. This gouda-type from the Land of the Midnight Sun is made by Synnøve, one of Norway's two largest cheese producers (the other being Tine). Synnøve was started by a woman who was exposed to dairy farming all her life. The young milkmaid traveled to the Captial of Norway, where she took work as an apprentice in a shop and dairy, but she longed to start her own work. Finally, she achieved her dream and the Synnøve Finden Cheese Factory opened in the town of Oslo in 1928.

Enjoy this mild, smooth and delicious cheese at breakfast, lunch, or dinner. A versatile cheese, Gulost melts evenly (think burgers or omelettes) and slices well.

Perishable foods are optimally packed and temperature controlled with kraft void fill and non-toxic refrigerant gel packs. To further contain temperature escalation, we fill any empty space with specialized foam to minimize air circulation.

Please join our efforts to be mindful of our environment and extend the life-cycle of our packaging, by reusing the gel packs to keep your next picnic or road trip fare cool.

Please note: Our products are always shipped so they will arrive at your door in optimal condition. Whenever possible - such as in periods of cooler ambient temperatures - we try to use less packaging , more recyclable materials and avoid unnecessary shipping waste.
