An Updated Review...
I wanted to update my initial review. The first time we tried this Hot Sopressata I found it lacking in flavor. However, I gave it another try and have ordered it many times since. While it is not "hot" or very spicy, I find it very tasty. I especially like the texture. Not too dry and most of all, not greasy. While it may not be as good as the pricier imported salamis from Italy, I would highly recommend it. At a great price too!

Love the texture and cut of it... but it lacks ANY flavor. Forget whether it's too spicy or not, it actually has very little flavor to it at all. Needs more salt, pepper, or anything just to spice it up!!!

Very good, with a little kick
Quite good, with a little bit of spice to give it a slight kick. I prefer it with some Dijon mustard to add a little more tang and heat. Excellent on a sandwich or on crackers.

Hot Was Not Even Lukewarm
I swear I am not a heat-seeker when it comes to my food. I will select medium or even mild where I know Hot = Fire. I tried this three different ways: with fresh Italian bread; fried up like the pork roll it is (tasted so much like Taylor's or Trenton NJ products that I had to question it's heritage); then sliced paper thin on a homemade pie. In each case the heat was either barely detectable or nonexistent. My wife, who enjoys a bit more incineration than I never detected any hotness at all, I thought I sensed it in a few bites but it was so slight I think it may have been more of a placebo effect from having seen some red specks in the meat when I sliced it. The pork flavor was decent enough but the overall quality of the product was only average and the labeling as hot was so specious I had to drop a star from the rating. Either this Sopressata contained the wrong peppers or the other reviewer's received a different product.

Can eat this just about any way. We eat it with imported cheese I purchased from this site. I bought 6 different types of cheese and this product goes with them all.

I purchased a Hot Calabrese Sepressata chub while visiting in Texas & sent it home with Amish Noodles. We cut it as soon as I got home & had it gone within two days. I ordered more when I found it on the internet. Wondeful taste & only sorry I missed the sale - will order more after the New Year

Not entirely correct
I long for the salamis and cheeses growing up as a boy outside New York City. Coarse, oily pepperoni and tart, striated provolone. I am still searching... have not found it with your product
