The Nuchar cooked octopus is superb both cold and hot! It has a firm and compact texture, deep flavor, and an excellent finish. There is no need to wait on this product to get defrosted, because it comes refrigerated. It is as simple as opening the packaging, heating the product and adding your personal touch. As it is an already cooked product you can also enjoy it cold right out of the package.

Cook it on the grill, bake it, steam it, serve it in cold salads or prepare it Galician style (with paprika and olive oil) as a topping for pasta and rice. This Octopus is a very versatile product when the package is opened the festival begins!

For perishable orders, we line our shipping boxes with Tempguard - a unique, padded insulator made of 100% pre-consumer recycled paper material. We further control the temperature with recycled kraft paper fill and non-toxic frozen gel packs. In the summer months, we may include dry ice to ensure fresh delivery in very hot weather.

Note: Please join our efforts to be mindful of our environment and extend the life-cycle of our packaging, by recycling your shipping box, Tempguard liner, and kraft fill (all 100% curbside recyclable!). Store the gel packs in your freezer and reuse to keep your next picnic or road trip fare cool.
