This gouda assortment is a delicious way to discover the nuances of how gouda matures during the aging process. It includes:
  • Red Wax Gouda: A typical Gouda variety, Red Wax Gouda is one of the world's most popular cheeses. (7.5 oz)
  • Beemster Classic Extra Aged Gouda is our best-selling gouda. After one taste of this 18-month masterpiece you'll see why. This extended time period allows its body to develop a muted caramel color, matched by a uniquely intense, yet sweet flavor. (7.5 oz)
  • Beemster X.O. A 26-month-old Dutch masterpiece, even richer and more intense than the popular 18-month variety. Made from pasteurized cow's milk. (7.5 oz)
  • Mini Toasts: With their crusty texture and mild taste, they are ideal with paté, cheese, smoked salmon or caviar. (2.75 oz)
Items out of stock will be substituted with similar items of equal or greater value.

Great cheese
All three cheeses were a hit at our party. Decent size portions and a wide arrange of flavors.

This is a wonderful selection of cheeses. They arrived in good condition. Might want to avoid summer delivery.

Great sampler and good value
I love gouda, both new and aged, so this was a no-brainer for me. The 18- and 26-month aged Beemsters don't taste vastly different to me, but both are delicious. Love those crystals. The red wax is creamy and easygoing. I also bought the 5-year gouda to go with.

Received exactly what I wanted.
Nowhere in my area can I find a good Gouda cheese made in Holland. Everything seems to come from Wisconsin. Dutch Gouda contains a high amount of the vitamin K2 which has incredible health qualities. Look it up!

Took a Chance and Was Pleased
I came across this website by accident and decided to take a chance and order cheese as a gift for very dear and discerning cousins who live in Florida...and love cheese. I live in Canada and ordering on the internet from U.S. companies is sometimes tricky. It was a big risk for me since I knew nothing about this company, its products or service, beyond what I read on the website...so having "Gouda Through the Ages", a perishable food, shipped, sight unseen (and "untasted"!)...as a belated Christmas gift to my favorite cousins? Well, the last thought I had when I pressed "submit order" was, "What am I doing?" But, I must say, the entire experience went well and my cousins were thrilled and happily surprised with my gift. Even when there was a mistake in the shipping (the thermal Eco bag I ordered as part of the gift was not in the package when it arrived in Florida),I was very satisfied with the customer service concerning the mistake. I used the website's "Live Chat" option (wonderful option) to inquire about the error. And, although it was only a $1.00 added option I had paid for, the customer rep was very courteous about my "complaint" and had the bag shipped out without hesitation. My cousins called to say the bag had arrived and that they had used it that day on a bus trip and had people commenting on how nice it was. My 4-star rating reflects the initial error in shipping, but I give this company a 5-star rating for all other aspects of my purchase experience, especially for the customer service. Very impressive.

I really liked this assortment. It was a great way for me to try varieties of gouda that I didn't even know about. The double aged was great and a new flavor.

A wonderful walk through Gouda
It's hard to list the "pros" for this group of wonderful goudas, because of the great changes between them at different ages. All are delicious, but deliciously different from each other. The warm nutty flavor grows as it ages, while the creamy smoothness of the young cheese is wonderful on the tongue. Enjoy!
