Incredibly fresh tasting salsas from beautiful Texas Hill Country. Choose from the folowing flavors. Varieties sold separately.
  • Salsa a la Charra: Riffing on an authentic mexican recipe, Fischer & Wieser use roasted tomatoes, onions and cilantro. Great with tortilla chips, mix with meatloaf, burgers or sloppy joes, add to fajitas or quesadillas. Gluten Free.
  • Salsa Verde Ranchera: Medium-hot, green salsa made with all-natural roasted Tomatillo peppers, onions and a dash of garlic. A recipe taken from deep in the heart of Mexico has been perfected in the heart of Texas! Dip your chips, or top your next grilled chicken breast. Gluten Free.
  • Das Peach Haus: They may be German, but one thing they have learned living so close to San Antonio and Mexico is how to make a good salsa. Fischer & Wieser combined their long history in the peach business with their love of salsa to bring you Das Peach HausĀ® Peach Salsa. Made with tree-ripened peaches and vine-ripened tomatoes, this sweet heat is very light and fresh. Gluten Free.
  • Hot Habanero: Most people aren't aware that Habanero is one of the most flavorful peppers because that flavor is usually hidden by its intense heat. They uncovered that great flavor with a special cooking process to temper the heat while maintaining the flavor - it makes this salsa a hit with everyone. Gluten Free.
Turning nature's bounty into some of America's favorite pantry items is no easy task. But Fischer & Wieser Specialty Foods, a family business in the Texas Hill Country, has proved what two feisty German families felt in their heart of hearts when they started: If you're honest and have a quality product, people will keep buying it. Fischer & Wieser is an incredible success that is based on the storied American entrepreneurial dream. While the privately-held company sells its pantry essentials from coast to coast and internationally, it continues to be owned and operated by members of the Fischer and Wieser families. In 1928, Joseph and Estella Wieser bought 60 acres of land on the southern edge of Fredericksburg. Their son, Mark Wieser, founded Das Peach Haus as a roadside fruit stand in 1969, and he now serves as chairman of the Fischer & Wieser board. Quality has been the guiding principle of the business from the beginning, and the whole family was adamant that it remain high. Everyone on the farm pitched in. Mark and his dad tended the orchard, and his mom and her daughter-in-law, Jean, made the preserves that became the company's first product. The rest of the family packed and picked the fuzzy delights fresh off the trees.
